Jerry is a GORGEOUS young (about a year old) border collie / pointer mix who - sadly - has spent virtually his whole life in the shelter. Jerry is - understandably - a little shy and confused right now. Regardless of that, he is a gentle, loving, affectionate boy who LOVES children, LOVES giving kisses, and even does well with other dogs (of course proper introductions are always necessary). Right now he is badly underweight - but reportedly he is gobbling down his food with gusto - and with 3 meals a day he should be packing on the pounds pretty quickly! He is an owner surrender, and so knows the ropes of being a family pet - but he's pretty confused and unhappy because he's lost the only family he's ever known ... and is now waiting anxiously for another! Harley is playful, friendly, loveable, funny, and will make a wonderful family pet. He's great with children, and good with other dogs with the proper introductions. Our gorgeous girl Maggie is still waiting to find a wonderful forever home! She LOVES her foster family and they love her, but every dog deserves a terrific forever! Maggie is just about two. She's a stunning rottie/boxer mix who is gentle, loveable, and knows all of her commands. This sweetheart will be a wonderful family member! She will do well in a home with older children - at 80+ lbs she could bowl over really little ones without meaning to. Shortly after arriving in our rescue we discovered that he is deaf and our President, who is also a trainer, has been working with him on hand signals. How can anyone resist Lady? She is SUCH a sweet cuddle-bug! She loves her foster family a lot - and the feeling is mutual. But all dogs deserve a wonderful forever home, and Lady is still looking for one! Lady is a little over four years old, a petite girl - which is a good thing since she likes to think she's a lap dog This sweet pup is wonderful with other dogs and also with children. Ava is a pretty girl - a pit mix a little over a year old. She is great with children and cats, but needs to be an only dog. She is shy with men, but with time and patience she warms up (cookies and toys help!) She has been spayed, is UTD on vaccines, and is HW and Lyme negative, so she's all set to find her forever. She has had some training - still has puppy energy though, so exercise and continued training are in order.
